Change is coming …
We send you this mailing with the news that we will be scaling back the Northmoor Meat Company in January 2023. Whilst 12 months ago we saw this part of our business being something we wanted to grow, the constantly rising costs, the difficulty in finding reliable butchery with the availability needed, and the significant time it takes us to run this part of our business has ultimately led us to this decision. Whilst it feels sad to be stepping back, it feels like the right one for our family and our business.
Availability
Fear not … we are not entirely closing our doors. We will still be farming both cattle and sheep, and whilst we will be reducing the frequency of our direct sales, we do intend to have beef and lamb available a few times a year.
Ordering
Moving forwards, we will no longer be taking online orders. Instead we will notify customers via email of our availability. We will primarily be offering mixed selection boxes rather than individual cuts, and we will take orders via email.
Newsletter
Word on the street is that people quite like our newsletters, so we will very much keep these going. This will be where we publish details of our meat availability as well as our farm updates, so keep your eyes peeled for them. We would like to send a huge thank you to you all for your loyal custom and words of support over the years. We hope we can continue to deliver you some delicious produce, albeit in a slightly different format.
